Sadly this. As much as I'd love him back, he wouldn't work under a DoFWould want to be on control not just coach. It’s a top quality coach and organiser we need in our structure.

I think he’s mellowed, I’m sure I’ve read a couple of articles about his self reflective years more recently and why that would make him a better manager. I’d certainly welcome him backRoy Keane struggled to deal with a Premier league squad who didn't meet his standards.
There is no way he would be interested in coming to a league 1 team with a squad that lacks any backbone or fight.
As much as I would love to see him come back he wouldn't last 2 minutes before he imploded
Disagree. Bring him home. Just the kick up the arse we need to get us out of the pub leagueGod how many times man?
Will not work with a DOF!!!

You can disagree all you want. I love the bloke, but read his book, he wont do it with a DOFDisagree. Bring him home. Just the kick up the arse we need to get us out of the pub league

I reckon he’d inspire the younger players
Get him in.I'd have him back if he fancied the challenge.
You don't need a tactical genius at this level and (as we're seeing already) talking football gibberish only ends up confusing players. Footy is a pretty simple game if you want it to be and Keane would no doubt tell the players to play it that way. He would also be massive box office again, like the first time round....I think we'd get a mostly positive reaction from the players too.
It all comes down to if he could fit within the structure which the club is being run. If he could just concentrate on his coaching duties and maybe bring in some decent backroom staff, I think it could work.
Absolutely-Parkinson, Grayson, Coleman, Ross and Johnson are uninspiring dweebs and the results follow. While it’s unlikely to be Keane, we need someone to grab us and drag us out this league
Smith, Reid, McCarthy, Keane, Allardyce. They all had something about them. We respond to that

Coleman was not uninspiring like. The opposite in fact, but he played tactics that the team we had at the time had no idea how to execute.Absolutely-Parkinson, Grayson, Coleman, Ross and Johnson are uninspiring dweebs and the results follow.

seems the same with LJ like. Over complicated
Couldn’t stand Coleman myself. Agree with you on the over complicated approach-this is Division 3 not Champions League.Coleman was not uninspiring like. The opposite in fact, but he played tactics that the team we had at the time had no idea how to execute.

This.I think we need that big personality that will bounce us out the divison, not one to call for those types of managers but i think its the only thing that will work.
