Which is what i said on my thread on monday,we are running with the lead in.I haver never thought promotion was high on the agenda since ahem the takeover.
Donald and Methven complained about promotion after they took over because it would cost too much money on the basis that the extra income wouldn’t cover the extra costs of players etc in the championship.

Spot on mate and i think these 2 shits are still pulling the strings

Is Keane a dinosaur and should be left if then past?
I think this needs to be addressed. The thinking that he is a dinosaur, a hothead, a loose canon, is predominantly based on his playing days, and yes, back then, was probably correct.
He is 50 years old now, and has matured, both in his outlook, and his tactical ability and knowledge of the game.
People change with age. I joined the forces because if I hadn't I would probably have done time. Even in the Navy, I was permanently in the shit. Ffs, I hoyed a taxi driver into the water in Plymouth dockyard once, because he had no change for a tenner.

I am happy with my garden and my dog now. Mellow (ish)

He is the right man, at the right time, not the hand grenade he once was.

Your 1st sentence is wrong.

Data is raw and doesn't contain any meaning unless analyzed. Information is data collated and produced to further a logical meaning.

I know I'm be pedantic ;)
Exactly. Trying to turn an art form into a science. Data is useless on its own. The value is in how you interpret and analyze it. Recent events suggest that certain people are drawing the wrong conclusions and failing to factor in the intangibles such as confidence............and basic, fuckin defending.

Anyway....

It’s ridiculous to think Keane is just an angry man and nothing else. He’s clearly intelligent, analytical, erudite and with standards/principles underpinning his values. The passion (anger) is just the depth of his beliefs - sometimes got the better of him in the past but he’s mellowed further since then. And even then he wasn’t some out of control idiot.

So the club DON’T want promotion?!
Ha’way man ffs! :lol::lol:
“Financially, in terms of on-going costs, staying in League One is straightforward," Methven told the club's matchday programme ahead of their play-off semi-final first leg against Portsmouth.

“In fact, going up represents more of a challenge. We have probably sorted out 60 to 70 per cent of the mess we inherited and while we would need an extra oomph in our financial petrol tank if we were promoted to the Championship, there are quite a few investors who want to join us.”

Although it's seems to have a horrendous affect on the last 2 games is 10 days really an extremely long time to sack a manager and bring a replacement in. To me that's not the problem, the problem was the fact Speakman had not one person in a position to take the first team for 2 games , if its true what is being said that Keane agreed on Friday and the hold up has been trying to reach an agreement with Nottingham forest to release Reid, then I don't think they have done that much wrong in that situation.
What has happened in the days in-between are questions that Speakman should be forced to answer

He openly said he would have decked De Gea after his performance in a game last year.

Kind of negates your point

But will this match the incumbent honcho / s?

Personality clashes are not necessarily negative, but they are if everyone has an ego to protect.
