Because if you aren’t saying that then the point about him not motivating players he signed himself is totally irrelevant if he has no say over transfers because none of the others have either.

That may be debatable. Keane has a history of bringing players he has previously worked with. At Ipswich he took Fulop, Leadbitter, Coleck and Carlos Edwards.

I just can't see us throwing the entire model out of the window mate. And don't thikn we should either.

In what world does any self-respecting manager allow a career youth coach pick his players for him? It's madness.

Final say is very different to being in charge. It's been said over and over, we have a recruitment team. The manager has input and a veto etc. etc. but not overall control because that's how we ended up on our knees financially.

Keane himself has said he wants to focus on the coaching more than contracts etc.

See I half have this opinion. If I was Keane I’d be insulted that he’s basically said he wants the job yet still hasn’t got it.
