Hope talks sh i t and if theyre talking about second interviews then Keanes out of the reckoning...
Somewhat contradictory. Negotiations happen when a job is offered. Interviews to decide whether to offer the job. The interpretation I have of that is Keane has been offered the job, quite possibly right at the outset and things are taking a little time to get right whilst we interview contingency plan coaches/managers. Would explain the “ it’s done” and the “ it’s not done” info because it’s likely he’s said yes but contracts aren’t yet finalised. If that’s the case continuing the process with other candidates is sensible and pragmatic rather than wait for a possible no from Keane and start from scratch.

Ok so here is what I’ve been told 100% no wind up, Keane was at the AOL this morning (still might be) he was actually at the match on Saturday but kept in a box no idea how he wasn’t spotted guessing he didn’t come out of the box (remember the fire alarm after the game). Told ‘they’ wanted to get these couple of games out of the way first before announcing Keane so Proctor and Dodds take the flak rather than Keane being rushed in and getting off to a bad start (makes no sense to me like) but he WILL be the next Sunderland manager! If this wasn’t me I would be calling it as bullshit and saying piss off but who I’ve been told from is ITK. Prehab or any of the other ITKs will be able to confirm some of these details I imagine (if they wish).
That’s one of the most stupid decisions I have ever heard, which makes me think it’s probably true.

So we don't mind losing games to save Keane's reputation from a possible bad start? What if he comes in Wednesday and loses Saturday?

Also, you've just reminded me by mentioning thr fire alarm. What the fuck was that noise that kept happening in sat (presumably through the tannoy?)? Think i happened just after their goal and second half. Thought Aliens were coming down.

We all know it isn't like any other job though. Your mates appointed Phil f***ing Parkinson on the strength of an interview and apparent good references as if he was going to be a team leader in a call centre. He's presently 7th in the National League.
what mates? everton interviewed lampard twice..football does interview candidates all the time,,,simple as that.

That doesn’t make sense but because of who told me I’ve got to take it at face value. His TV work over the weekend was more likely the reason for any delays.

It's utter nonsense that. I'd take no notice of him whose posted it.

I used to be an NVQ assessor, what an absolute joke of a qualification
Wouldn’t care but I was a soldier in a very technical trade doing my job for real and that was what they recorded. 🤷‍♂️

Not having this at all. Roy ‘we don’t want you in against The mighty Cheltenham and Doncaster as you might not make a great start, Wimbledon’s okay though yeah’
Roy ‘yeah no problem two toughies them’
It’s everything against who he is to in effect bottle these two games
He still may come in when you say but the reasons above, not a chance

Exactly- can you imagine the fuss on here if we were back to square one!
