Somewhat contradictory. Negotiations happen when a job is offered. Interviews to decide whether to offer the job. The interpretation I have of that is Keane has been offered the job, quite possibly right at the outset and things are taking a little time to get right whilst we interview contingency plan coaches/managers. Would explain the “ it’s done” and the “ it’s not done” info because it’s likely he’s said yes but contracts aren’t yet finalised. If that’s the case continuing the process with other candidates is sensible and pragmatic rather than wait for a possible no from Keane and start from scratch.Hope talks sh i t and if theyre talking about second interviews then Keanes out of the reckoning...
