I'm increasingly convinced that's Speakman's game tbh, so that he can end up appointing someone more compliant while claiming they tried to bring Keane in.

Keane wouldn't exactly be the most difficult person to wind up to the point that he tells the club where to go.
Absolutely mate and I'd expect inviting him to a second interview would provide that exact response.

That'll be the same Birmingham whose fans were protesting the ownership the other day.
aye..does the fans protesting change the fact they are in a higher level than safc?
birmingham fans have every right to protest about their club and its owneers..that dioesnt give safc fans the right to abuse the club

Ok so here is what I’ve been told 100% no wind up, Keane was at the AOL this morning (still might be) he was actually at the match on Saturday but kept in a box no idea how he wasn’t spotted guessing he didn’t come out of the box (remember the fire alarm after the game). Told ‘they’ wanted to get these couple of games out of the way first before announcing Keane so Proctor and Dodds take the flak rather than Keane being rushed in and getting off to a bad start (makes no sense to me like) but he WILL be the next Sunderland manager! If this wasn’t me I would be calling it as bullshit and saying piss off but who I’ve been told from is ITK. Prehab or any of the other ITKs will be able to confirm some of these details I imagine (if they wish).

I think the club are getting some unnecessary criticism here if I’m being honest.
From reading the various statements and comments in the media it strikes me that we started the recruitment process and it became apparent that Keane was interested.
At this point he became the number 1 candidate cumulating in him meeting the owner/Speakman on Friday and being offered the job. There are some negotiations going on between us and him and I suspect that, as he has done previously, he’s asked to think about it over the weekend.
While this has been going on we’ve continued to interview other candidates in case Keane says no.
Hopefully he says yes and is appointed today because we really need him.
Fingers crossed for good news this afternoon
This is my feeling too

It doesnt look good though and makes it worse with dumb and dumber in the dugout

second round of interviews? it's a football manager not a head of compliance at a major legal firm

What the fuck are they playing it?
We need to make sure the correct data is followed, the correct philosophies are followed and all the correct processes are in place of course.
BUZZWORD BUZZWORD BUZZWORD I know more about football than you. It’s now played by 15 men on hoverboards. Biggest load of shit I’ve ever heard. The club are taking the piss

By 'these couple of games' do you mean Doncaster and Cheltenham? Does that imply Keane had a hand in Saturday's debacle?

All should be named and banned indefinitely if this falls through now.

Every single one of them.
Why ? as I posted ealier at least 6 different people in the club said this was done, they're only posting what they hear, I heard from a player it was all sorted, something has gone wrong and the club are (not for the first time) telling the journos bullshit. I reckon they're releasingbull and looking for the leakers.

Was Keane wearing a pair of those joke glasses and a moustache? Smuggled into the box in a suitcase?

If he was there on Saturday there is 0 way he'd have been able to remain hidden.
