It’s absolutely ridiculous that we could face not having a manager for 3 games. We needed someone in last week but at the latest today and it’s obviously not happening

He’s not been successful at a single thing he’s done for any notable length of time. In spite of the privilege and old school connections everything he’s touched has turned to shit eventually.

Oh aye, there's always the chance he's full of shit. I just mean if we take it at face value it's quite a positive update. Sounds like we want Keane but obviously its likely there'll be a number of demands (on both sides). Judging by keanes demeanour on the tele I don't get the impression there's anything major there, it seemed like an open secret that he was off. Need it tied up as soon as possible but while we wait its sensible to go through a full process with others so that, if Keane says no, we're ready to move quickly. If his reporting is accurate, which I know is debatable, I think it sounds sensible and it doesn't write off the possibility of an announcement tonight
