wait aminute..i was told if we signed defoe that would get us promotion..now we have to sign keqane to get promotion?

who said what keane wants would be about money for him..tbf to the lad he doesnt need money..but he might want control of tran=sfers or something..which is not how it is done
Well surely they would know what he was likely to want so if it wasnt acceptable why entertain him ?
Btw who would think for a minute that you could employ Keane and take transfers away from him ?
Only a fool.

he has been out of management for 12 years faikled at his three jobs in football since leaving safc

Was a success here, failure at Ipswich, that's his management career.
Every manager we have had since him has ultimately been a failure by the end bar big Sam.
Most appointments will ultimately be failure, but as mentioned, all we need is a lift, a change of mentality and a kick up the arse. Recruitment has been good, management of players hasn't been good enough.

After mulling things over dont think it's the right time for him to become the boss but don't know anything anymore
CM was the one who kept the Defoe deal alive after LJ bollocks it up.
LJ did not want Defoe interfering with the coaching set up.
LJ claimed it was upsetting the whole set up.
Charlie has nowt to do with Woy. think It's all down to KLD now.

This media driven nonsense of the Keane ‘persona’ which is considered to be representative of the man is tedious beyond belief.

He isn’t without fault but he is also aware of those mistakes he has made in the past.

It is beyond belief (if Speakman is to be believed) that more interviews are planned for this week. The club is sinking like a stone and even if we lose again on Tuesday, having Keane in place will allow him to learn.

He's also not daft, he's an intelligent bloke.

It is if you think you’ll end up out on your ear. This is real life not make believe.
In real life grown ups make work situations that are difficult work all the time. They don’t have to like each other to work together well.
