I do have a bit of sympathy for him before he starts. He can't change it til the summer either. Unless he can magic up some decent free agents.

I still think we have a very good squad. I fully expect Keane to sort things out very quickly, if it's him. We've had some shocking results this season but we've also handed out some hammerings as well. Add in the outstanding additions last month and there's reasons to be cheerful.

That is based purely on voices in your head. Last time we appointed the wrong person in Lee Johnson. He could do 70% of what we want but the 30% was sustaining form to get promoted. This time they are trying to be sure and probably talking to more people than the journalists know about. Yes, we need a manager sharpish but they are loudly accused of being amateurs due to the defeat yesterday. Amateurism would be rushing the wrong appointment through.
