Where is the ID DONT GET IT THREAD GONE

I'd typed out the full reply

So who is a proper manager? For me keano is an icon of the game in my life time, I'm nearly 50. For me he is obviously choice if he wants it, unfinished business and all that. A player who won it all at manU and was for me a great manager for us has the fire in his belly to return to us, why us. But the the club is under his skin says so much about the club for me. How have we got under keano's skin, a sleeping giant, that's done nowt while Keane played but he's fell in love with us. Says so much about the club and its support. Just hope the messiah does return.

And the tread has gone
Ahhh well

Not a lot according to wiki, Managed several levels of the Scotland Bairns and then the Man United U23s
If ever there was a case of putting a sticking plaster on a gaping wound it was the appointment of sbragia after Keane left us. Although tbf that bloke turned out a hero, kept us up then resigned and just took a job as a scout in the back room. Seemed a nice bloke too tbh.

The new owner, I guess you mean he signed up under Niall and fell out under Short. Which is all true, but lets not kid ourselves that Keane was totally innocent in it all.
And please don’t think I don’t want him not to succeed, of course I do, but I’m also entitled to have a bit of cynicism

The way I remember it he cited principles, but didn't have too many to not leave us in the lurch. as many have said though, he had a great mentor, a love for the club and has clearly mellowed with age. We're all different people to what we were 14 years ago. We've tried a number of approaches since and none have worked out - it will bring a wave of emotion, if Keane can ride that wave we'll be OK. I'm excited but worried, any other appointment now I'd just be worried...

Of course you're right to be cynical/sceptical or whatever, he could be amazing or it could blow up spectacularly, I'm just hoping he has enough of a galvanising effect to get us out of this tin pot league, the novelty of league one was fun at 1st but now totally worn off, fingers crossed it all works out the way we want but could just as easily end in tears, Again...

That itv interview gave nothing at all away. People read into it what they want to believe. The fact is it told us nothing.

My take on what he (and Wrighty) said earlier is there’s been discussions but some stuff he doesn’t like the sound of I.e. the terms/length of contract or his level of control within the coach/manager/DoF set up

Well look at that another subs bench.
