i really don't get it. if it is salmon pants himself or someone very close to him what is the point of posting with a fuck ton of clearly deliberate spelling mistakes. is it just to wind people up or something

Totally disagree. No one was confident that Johnson would get us promotion. We were pathetic in the play offs last year, absolutely pathetic. McCann's Hull team showed the sort of balls we lacked in the pressure situations. Looking at Hulls team they were no better than we are now.
 
McCann seemed like an obvious candidate, but if what's been reported about cosiness between players and the manager and complacency among the squad is true, I don't see how it makes a lot of sense now.

If the club does think that the players need a shock to get them going again, then you'd think someone like Warnock or McCarthy would be second choice, not McCann.

He’s previously said it’s because he’s so busy that he has to type in a rush, doesn’t have time to proof read

It's because he imagines that people from the North East are a bit thick. It's his.dumb way to get down with the kids.

Agreed, I said similar a day or two ago. People were saying he wouldn’t work under a DoF model, I said that I reckon it’s exactly what he needs. He’s a coaching type, not a manager. He needs to focus on motivating the team, tactics etc. Not money and transfer dealings.

It’s 100% him like. He was all over the Oxford forums and got slated by them, he clearly couldn’t keep himself away from this place with how big it is so had to go ‘undercover’

His first few dozen posts were all spelled absolutely fine, no mistakes at all, then one day just starts posting like he does with the above.

Signed up to this forum just after the takeover from Donald & Methven, claims he’s never been interested enough to sign up to this place before, then comments on absolutely everything to do with Sunderland on the field and behind the scenes.

Seems to know the finances inside out. Someone who couldn’t be arsed to sign up to here until 2018 wouldn’t post as much as they did if they were just a genuine Sunderland fan from somewhere not local.

It’s the last thing we need. I’m sure she’s very capable but imagine the circus it would bring the first female head coach in England men’s game etc. Then as soon as she has a sticky patch because well…. we a safc it only takes on quote or comment from a fan about her being a woman and not good enough, then we are all painted with that brush the media would love that. Then if she does loose her job she has an excuse to say the men wouldn’t listen to her etc, maybe she won’t say that but you bet that’s the story the press would run with, sacked because she’s a woman etc, fans only booed because she’s a woman etc
