I can't understand why people think having a 'hard man' in charge will automatically bring success. I'd rather have an astute manager in charge. No, I can't name one but Keane in charge worries me. Tell me where he has been successful then tell me his last managerial role. His first year at Sunderland is my memory followed by an unsuccessful season and four months.

He is a leader.

Leadership is something we have none of - Saturday was a perfect example of that.

We need a figurehead that can galvanise the players, that's all we need to get over the line in the top 2 this season imo.

as soon as it's done we'll hear about it. they won't milk it as they'll want ticket sales

if you haven't got tickets for Saturday and are on the fence i'd get them now as at what point does it become to late to open the concourse?

how can you call staying up at the first attempt an unsuccessful season? we only went on to better his 11 wins that season once until we were relegated

I won't name names, but I feel that squad is too nice, keano will want them shouting at each , not just saying unlucky after a mistake, I just don't feel like the majority of this squad is like that . You only have to look at their body language on the pitch.
If stories are true then he certainly said he wanted players to shout at each other and challenge but when they did he told them to stop being dicks. I think it was more about getting them to take responsibility. I’m frankly not convinced he’s a good appointment but he’s certainly an exciting one. If we’re going to balls up promotion might as well do it in entertaining fashion and there’s just a chance it might work.

I think you might be right…..but attitudes can change pretty quickly and it will only take one to take it on board and the rest will follow suit……Dont forget we also now we have JD in the squad to back up RKs professsionalism so that change should happen very quickly
