I’m almost 40 and love Keane, does Neil even know who he is?

He was 4 when Keane took charge of us. But if he’s owt like most Sunderland supporters he’ll know throw looking back at “old” videos and stuff. Plus Keane’s a pretty prominent pundit.

Biggest meltdown in the history of message boards if.......

The worry is mate, the meltdown is across our fan base. The club are trying but folk just need to remain calm until everything is signed. It was only last November when this place was adamant that Poyet was back

Imagine the disappointment now if they go safe and appoint Warnock or McCann
This is based on the assumption we say no to Keane not vice versa there is a lot of noise our side saying we want him but no one knows if he wants to come here

We’ve been the biggest club in this league for four years now and look where it’s got us?

Having a ‘buzzing’ club doesn’t guarantee anything in this league. If that was the case why didn’t we just employ Keane at the start of the season and we’d be as good as promoted by now?
Keane wasnt here at the start of the season so what has that got to do with anything?

Keane would give us massive momentum going into the run in. We need a big character.

Agree mate, the fans/supporters need to chill the fk out, as you said in a previous post if this doesn't come off what chance will the alternative have?

Amazing how all the anti Keane posters know exactly what he won't do...the guy has been interviewed numerous times and talked about what he has learned over the years and will work with but they know better.

I presume all of this will covered in any interview/discussion with KLD so we will get to see exactly what he will and won't work with rather than what is told as gospel on here.

I respect all views and whilst I and the vast majority of my mates would love to see Keane back a couple are a little cautious, however you only have to look at the general reaction on this thread and consider the alternatives of McCann, Neil & Warnock to see Keane coming back as a positive imo.

As I have said before the one thing that both Keane and Defoe will bring to the club is another level of professionalism and standards which none of these players will have seen before.

FFS we are talking about basically swapping AOB and LJ for Defoe and Keane!

If I was in the dressing room I would be chomping at the bit to impress them and walking 10 foot taller.

This can only benefit SAFC in my eyes and let's hope it happens.
Great Post mate
