I am honestly staggered that people think a professional working in coaching at the club is incapable of doing anything other than pretty much photocopying last weeks teamsheet.

If that's what you think we can't expect more from him then wtf is he doing coaching our U23s?
he doesnt manage the u23s....i mean he is caretaker manager there now..but its not his day job.

Hasn’t he stated he admits he made mistakes and believes he will be better for it?
I hope so. I’m just pointing out that approx half his signing were crap and offered nowt. Hopefully he’ll work with the data bunch to bring that % reet down if indeed he gets the job.

He needs to take more photocopies of the team sheet at Hetton-can only get one if there’s any left after the scouts get them !!

It's amazing how Wigan can go from just say staying up with kids to going up automatically. Yet we have to be patient in the third division. Complete joke if we're honest.
Less condescending shite like philosophies, projects and POMO zones and more letting a bloke who knows football recruit a side capable of getting out of the division.

Get Keano in with some football people around him and ship Speakman off to the call centre.

Yep. I'm not one who thinks fans know everything - sometimes the popular choices flop totally - but it's very rare that you get an appointment who nobody wants end up being able to exceed expectations and win fans over (certainly in my experience following Sunderland).

Absolutely nobody other than the directors thought Grayson or Parkinson or Wilkinson or Buxton would be anything other than disastrous, and they weren't. To my mind, a Lennon/McCann/Woodgate-type appointent would be of the exact same ilk, equally damaging to fan confidence as it would be to our on-pitch prospects.
this is true. It's not even a matter of whether you support the club or not. Look at Everton - 99% of football fans could have told their chairman hiring Rafa was a ludicrous idea that would never work. Few months later he's out on his arse.

He proved himself to be miles out of touch in regards to the current situation. Played the same side that got humped, made no HT subs and when he did make them it was too late.

Was like an LJ parody.

Oh wait a minute, he's from Birmingham and hired by Speakman.

Should never have been handed temporary control.

Kevin Ball would honestly have been better and I would have respected it.
Lucille Ball would have done a better job marra and I’m pretty sure she’s dead

Ok. I mean I don't think someone who works in football who is so evidently weak to have just sent out the same team that got battered will be tolerated by Keane either, but this guy is not the main problem. Surely we can all agree that they should not be picking the team on Tuesday? They're too inexperienced and too gutless to do it.

I think people really need to calm down. I get the frustration it's not sorted by now, but there could be any type of hold up behind the scenes.

What if it's just a case of the backroom staff Keane wants are currently employed. We'll be arranging settlements for them, then contracts. Keane won't sign on without the team he wants.

Everything this club do takes ages and feels so laboured on and off the pitch, people are rightly more than a little fucked off with the whole thing

Let's just say it wasn't Keane for whatever very good reasons, keane had too many demands or whatever, then I'm looking forward to Speakman trying to explain it while not causing a complete meltdown and simultaneously completely undermining whoever does get it.
