I'd say they were better than mediocre in the main mate:
Jones
Reid
Malbranque
Chimbonda
Ferdinand
Cisse
Richardson
Gordon
All good players

Of course he made some bad buys such as Diouf, McCartney and Prica but which manager doesn't?
There was a link to a list of his signings at SAFC on earlier. 50% were bad signings.

Honestly it need announcing and dealt with this evening or tomorrow morning at the latest. We've wasted Doncaster, we'll waste Cheltenham and then it's MK Dons at the weekend.

At this minute I can't see a single win from either and then we'll either be out of or certainly on the precipice of falling out of the play offs.

This required forethought and planning and an urgent appointment to lift and organise the players, otherwise don't sack the f***ing manager that got us into the play offs of which we now look like dropping out of.

It's painfully incompetent so far following on from yesterday's interview.

Get it f***ing sorted or spend another season in this godforsaken league.

Guarantee if that happens they'll never see 38,000 again

That article does say that they've been sorting out contractual arrangements over the weekend. If that's the case then there won't be another interview and it would align with Keane's comments on Friday night.

For all we know it could be Keane's side holding up any deal. Given that automatic promotion is now dead, I don't think it matters too much whether he's in before Tuesday or not, it's not like he's going to be able to do much with one training session. Before the weekend is a different matter mind.
7th place are only 5 points behind with a game in hand and we are in dreadful form

The longer it goes on, the more it just looks like he's looking for anybody else but Keane.
Is this scenario going to be this generation's Brian Clough moment? We could have had Clough. Will these decision makers be frightened off by Keane's confident personality and reputation for not tolerating 2nd best and slackers? Hope not.

This.

I think everyone are jumping to conclusions too easily.

May be that as you mention or it may be something in his TV contracts which are preventing it being announced right now for all we know?

His comments on ITV man, I just cannot for the bloody life of me, believe he isn't coming now....just seems to be something holding getting it out there....

It'll happen imo and it'll be sooner rather than later (I bloody well hope anyway). We need a manager so badly for Tuesday night...

Ballsed up yesterday with that interview.
He read the room completely wrong with what he said and it only made things worse with the defeat. I literally don’t understand why we need to interview any other candidate. He clearly wants the job and the fans are screaming for it. I can’t see a way back for Speakman if he appoints anyone else. The backlash will be huge.

He said he had several interviews, but did not state whether he offered or turned down the role.
however when the Chairman comes to your house and says… we want you to win some games.
it sounds like an offer.
but out of respect he is not saying who they were or that he turned them down.
understandable
not if the chairman says it to a bunch of managers then asks them to come for interview.

Fuck nars..you tell me?? Like i've posted a million times just posting what i been told.
Hes done that interview for a reason, not just a laugh, he only updated frankie publicly 2 days before.

It's a negotiating tactics or it's a power struggle
I'm aware. It doesn't change anything I posted.
We can't continue with the 2 clowns that's in charge now like. I wouldn't even let them take charge Tuesday.
