What if Keane was asked to have input on basis his appointment was close? Rightly or wrongly it’s absolutely standard to give sides that have been battered an opportunity to right their wrongs. It didn’t work, I wouldn’t have done it( Dajaku and Matete would have played if I was in charge) but it’s not a sackable offence, just a decision that didn’t work but which often has in different circumstances.
