After the last 2 games no one will take it until the end of the season with a extension if we go up.
I agree. Anyone with anything about them would surely be saying “I want at least two transfer windows to put this right”.

Remind me of the positivity behind our results in 2022? Beaten at home by two teams in the bottom 5, One win. Beaten 6-0, 5 points from 18 (6 games) which is relegation form in League 1.Much as I love this forum it doesn't take much for the positivity to disappear![]()
I'd like to agree with you mate, but I think they are falling at the first hurdle.I think Speakman and co’s thorough approach will not dividends over time. Balancing that with short term success though requires good decisions. I don’t think Johnson was a bad one - they’re all gambles and he did some good but didnt quite make the best choices to win enough games but you can see how we have squad players now for Johnson’s system which is flawed which weakens the next man. We just need a winning coach/ manager now which will buy time for the thorough approach to bed in. Being too purist may be counter productive with this one. In a way if the first team fails the plan might not be around long enough to bear fruit.
Oh aye I know I'm not complaining . Its just the last few days the place was buzzing and it was practically dead by 5pmRemind me of the positivity behind our results in 2022? Apparently if we'd kept Johnson we would have trounced them. Not only that but the 2nd half vs Bolton followed by the 1st 45 today were quite possibly the two most abject performances many of us have ever witnessed in our lifetimes. A spectacular implosion. Players have completely gone
3.15 when Doncaster realised they could just play basic through balls and our midfield and defence didn’t have a f***ing clue what to do.Oh aye I know I'm not complaining . Its just the last few days the place was buzzing and it was practically dead by 5pm![]()

Logged off at work, got on the bus opened my phone and went 'ffs'. Knew what was happening3.15 when Doncaster realised they could just play basic through balls and our midfield and defence didn’t have a f***ing clue what to do.
It's bizarre that after looking fantastic at times this season we are suddenly the worst team in the league. Even by our standards this fall has been another level. Not only that but the 2nd half vs Bolton followed by the 1st 45 today were quite possibly the two most abject performances many of us have ever witnessed in our lifetimes. It was f***ing shite. We looked ok for 10 minutes then completely collapsed. At one point I counted 6 sideways passes between Doyle and Batth.Logged off at work, got on the bus opened my phone and went 'ffs'. Knew what was happening![]()
I think we’re agreeing in a way. The long term stuff, restructuring academy, recruitment, all that stuff is good and will bear fruit and you have to look ahead. I’m right behind it. But getting the first team appointment wrong will mean whoever it is doesn’t last long enough to see it. I can’t help but think there was a massive fall out with LJ somehow - something big happened - because not having the next bit in place for today has cost us more than I think he thought before the game. Not enough urgency at all. Information is good but nobody wanted that update. They wanted a manager in to kick our arses and get three points. They have to get this right. I personally think the experience of Keane and his clear thinking would be the perfect addition to the recruitment plan they’ve got in place. He would balance it with reality and make strength of personality and will to win as important as technical ability.I'd like to agree with you mate, but I think they are falling at the first hurdle.
Long term success will only come to fruition if major decisions, such as management changes are handled correctly and even their most ardent supporters would agree they have so far completely mishandled this one.
Succession planning is a basic for any long term business plan, and in my eyes, this has shown that they clearly hadn't forseen LJ going, or planned for it, even though they felt it right to pull the trigger when they did.
Poor, poor management mate.
and you are being kind mate. A shambles. It was f***ing shite. We looked ok for 10 minutes then completely collapsed. At one point I counted 6 sideways passes between Doyle and Batth.
Surely if players are weak as piss then bollocking them is the absolute worst thing they can do.Get Keane in. Players need a bollocking weak as piss
I'm happy for Keane to have 18 month deal tbh.Not only that but the 2nd half vs Bolton followed by the 1st 45 today were quite possibly the two most abject performances many of us have ever witnessed in our lifetimes. A spectacular implosion. Players have completely gone

Which is why Keane could turn out to be a huge mistake.
and they had the brass neck to complain about Johnson getting the sack. They downed tools for him. I wasnt his biggest fan but he and we as supporters deserved a lot better. Not only that but the 2nd half vs Bolton followed by the 1st 45 today were quite possibly the two most abject performances many of us have ever witnessed in our lifetimes.
