The managers they will want won't be available in February mate. Young progressive coaches move in the summer.

I’m sorry but that’s rubbish. Manager’s change throughout the year. If we want someone enough or someone wants to come here enough, we’ll get them and they’ll come now.

Pissing around with Keane for four months doesn’t make any sense. Say it works, we get promoted, how do you say “cheers Keano, we’ve got promoted but off you go to Sky”?

We need to get someone to coach defence against crosses and counter attacks. If he brings the ghost of Don Howe as a coach, then I'm in. Would rather him than someof other choces though. Sport is entertainment and it wouldn't be dull

We don't, we keep him on.

You just add a promotion clause to renegotiate if successful

We have tried it with the managers from lower divisions who most of us had not heard of or taken much notice of before and they just didn't have what it takes. We have found that its a very big ask just getting one of them to get us promoted & if they ever did they would be pretty much on their arses in the Championship

If we are fortunate to have managers with a pedegree in the Championship and/or the Premier league expressing and interest in the job and we can afford one of them we should be grabbing them. We can't afford to be sniffy about people who have had real experience of managing teams in the top two leagues. We should count our blessings that the have come forward.

Nothing in his last decade that suggests this is a good idea. That said if he has learned from those he may well be the best “ instant impact” short term option. He’s have to be coming on our terms though, present at training and happy with the structure.
I’d honestly prefer Manning or Edwards but can see the attraction of Keane.

This club needs a kick up the backside!!
A shot in the arm!!!...I'll always be grateful to Keane..put us back on the map so to speak..got the place buzzing and some self respect back!!
So if it happens...hold on tight it could be one hell of a ride!!
