We won't adapt the model for anyone. So it will be Keane trying to work out himself if he can live it and fact to some extent Speakman will be in charge.
Surely Speakman is kind of offering him the job? Be harsh of Keano to start moaning and want him sacked once he's got it!

I once took my then 12 year old son along to see the lads training at the AOL back in maybe 2007 when you were still allowed to and got to meet Grant, Steed, Kieran etc.

Roy came off the pitch and had a photo taken with my lad.

I am the last person in the world who would ever be impressed with any so called “celebrity” (I’ve met a few) but that day as Roy walked away after the photo I thought hmm that was different.

He definitely has a presence about him.

We are in a better position than we were under Johnson.
Whoever comes in surely has to hit the same targets that Johnson was given or does Keane get some sort of special dispensation

LJ requested not to be judged on last season so we can hardly expect anyone to be any different. Of course it may work as a quick fix but I think they left it too late. Last November was the time to give the new Manager a reasonable chance.

I think the only ones who will be against it will be the poor professionals....make no mistake he'll root them out.

The good solid hard working pro will be fine and hopefully we see the end of players shutting down when they feel like it.
Thing is even some good professionals may not like him. Jon Walter's is said to be a great pro, Keane got a bee in his bonnet. I just feel quite a few of them will be nervous about this appointment

I’m assuming opening the concourse would require extra policing, extra staffing, new health and safety checks etc.

Maybe they’re sorting all that out first.

Ok, I’m bored alright!
