It's easy to get carried away with nostalgia but on the flip side we were Keanes first job and he seems the type to learn from his mistakes.

I think most managers need to accept the DOF or they would never be hired so doubt if he genuinely wanted the job he'd turn it down on the basis of a DOF. We need a bounce - Keano could be the man to do it

He'd also get the crowd behind the team ( alongside Defoe ) . Could see us over the line then we can assess things for next season
Promoted with three games to spare but no open top bus!

Would Def give the place a massive boost, just hope he can do what he did on his first season with us, my only slight concern is he hasn't managed in a long time .
I have similar concerns. I’d like to think he is made fully aware of how the club is ran with speakman etc but would assume he is

Jobs his if he wants it

Fair enough. If he is appointed I hope his"putting the bibs out" experience pays off (I am parodying Keane here in case you think I'm serious)

He’s a unique individual. You can’t and shouldn’t try and control him.

He’s one of those people who knows when he’s made a mistake and the kind of bloke who will call it a day at the right time rather than waiting for a payoff.

I have no problem with him kicking arses

aye that was my point. So if prehabs info is right, Keane can't have been interviewed yesterday, which more likely means he is being / has been today. As per the reports. All good stuff.

I dont think the interview will be the problem tbh mate. I suspect any potential problems will come around wages

I like to think KLD has watched all the LJ post match Brentspeak and though this guys not a leader he’s a billy bullshitter. When I sack him I want the opposite, someone who doesn’t mince his words, someone direct, a leader, but who. Set forward mr Keane
