*~*~* Rotherham v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

No one is saying we played well but the overreaction is comical . People sitting with their cocks in their hand hoping Beale fails .
What would it take for you to day something negative about the club? Were u sat clapping when burton and bent relegated us to league 1. Genuine question btw

Dogshit. Not good enough. Still playing Mowbray tactics and team without Mowbray knowing how to do it. Am seeing absolutely nothing from the new coach, and piss off with your ‘he’s only had three games‘ bollocks, I’ve been drinking heavily and so I AM RIGHT.

He's had 3 matches man , nobody can make an informed judgement on how he will do here , you can guess , fair enough . But all these people prclaiming that he is the wrong man , as yet , are talking out of their arses.

So why change it then if he can’t do anything?

Why not leave Mowbray in charge until the end of the season? What benefit are we getting from employing a new coach at a period in the season when games are thick and fast?

Theses have drew with Leeds and Ipswich and beaten Norwich , Coventry and Boro . Some on here are deluded if they think we are just going to turn teams over by turning up , especially teams as physical as Rotherham.
Alreet Michael how's it going?

You have to realise that they're absolutely rock bottom of the league and it's no use banging on about the positive results they've had when they're f***ing bottom!

Difficult for someone like Burstow coming on in a game like that. I think he's absolutely garbage and he can clearly only run towards the opposition goal (though has problems with composure when he gets there) and we seem to have made a habit of buying centre forwards who can only do that.

we struggle more to open up sides who sit in deep and are organised rather than against those who leave space in behind, yet haven't seemed to have brought in a forward who can also drop deep, hold the ball and play in others running past them.

"the traditional number nine is not as prevalent in our team as it would be in other teams in terms of how we play the game"

A quote from Speakman back in January. Maybe it's about time we made it prevalent?
He was covering his arse fir the fcuk up of that window. Teams need strikers and if he tries to say otherwise he's talking shit.

We were so bloody good earlier on in the season, playing short fast passes, getting through defences, driving forward, and we were genuinely hard to play against. All that has gone now, half of the players look scared to death of quick passing and their first thought is to turn their back on going forwards and simply pass it backwards to retain possession.

I'd imagine Clarkes agent is telling him he's wasting his time here, we're not making the team stronger and they are seeing him as the only creative option. He might be gone before the derby.
