*~*~* Rotherham v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

Worst game of football I have watched us play for some time. Were like a bunch of strangers just rocked up for a game, no game plan, strategy nowt. It's like we went out with the intention of not getting turned over.🤮
I would agree with you in the first half, and most of the second. Came alive for 10-15 mins and that was it.

Lucky to get a point.

I can’t help but think we spend too much time feeding Clark instead of being direct and going for goal.
Lord help us if Clark gets an injury.
I’m almost desperate to see other players step to the fore, we are embarrassingly predictable. Pritchard does offer something different and has simply got to start against Preston and in the Derby.

Theses have drew with Leeds and Ipswich and beaten Norwich , Coventry and Boro . Some on here are deluded if they think we are just going to turn teams over by turning up , especially teams as physical as Rotherham.

I'm not watching mate. I do have a thread somewhere about Beale's style, which out of possession has generally been more about sitting in a mod block and allowing the opposition to play out and then restricting space in the centre.

I've no idea if that's what you're referring to in regards to tonight's match, mind.

That's at half time, so you can double it to 12%.
It finished at 0.33. Against bottom of the league Rotherham that’s a disgrace and to the best of my knowledge is our lowest of the season.

We showed yet again that if a team gets in to us, we don't have many answers. Easy as piss to play against us.

Glad Seelt got subbed, he never looked like he wanted play to go forwards.
Think he'll be a decent replacement for Ballard when he goes in the summer bit not a fullback or wingback in a million years.

Here he is, Michael Beale’s butler
