Changing managers every 10 months is what got us where we are today. We might have been better off sticking with somewhere else rather than being the PL's turd that wouldn't flush for half a decade.

We could just stop appointing shit managers in the first place?

I’m actually lost for words and since watching them since 1960 I have become conditioned to disappointment. I pray I am wrong but these prize winning bottlers take some beating and Charlton will be licking their lips with relish at the prospect of playing those fragile, feckless fannies

He should have been sacked after Wembley in all honesty. No strikers for 1/4 of the game embarrasing.

Absolutely clueless Im afraid.

Dour football and dire tactics. Im all for giving managers time if it looks like it is heading in the right direction. This is not and he has to go.

Even if we scrape up via the playoffs I do not want to watch his dour football for another season.

I said back in January that Jack Ross is not capable of getting us out of this division, the players are ( except our defence ) his tactics and substitutions are absolutely baffling, having said this it's quite obvious that the new owners didn't realise just how big a club they have bought, and after they admitted they didn't have money to compete in the Championship it has to make you wonder just how long we are going to be in this league, Charlton are on a charge and we have no hope of getting past them in the play offs, the future is not as bright as some believe.

Worst decision Ross made was giving him the captaincy. He’s had to find a way to accommodate him in the side every week when he shouldn’t even be playing. That is how far we’ve fallen. Honeyman is the first name on the team sheet and we’ve basically built our team around him all season.

I literally f***ing detest Honeyman. Its honestly got to the point where i want someone to injure him so he misses games. He wouldnt get a game for Blyth or any local non league side for that matter.

Not really an apologist, but how many managers have we had now who've been alright before us, been alright after us, but looked absolutely clueless here?

It's not just the manager.

Would have agreed with this in recent years but he's the first manager we've had for a long time who has no excuses whatsoever if he fails here and right now he's failing badly.

When have we played better second half after his team talk ? Serious question.

This really worries me. I'm sure there are examples, but not recently over the season it has become normal for us to weaken from the second half whistle. It's not fitness, it's lack of management.

I'm truly f***ing gobsmacked. How many times has he managed to snatch a loss or a draw from the jaws of victory this season with his dreadful tactics and terrible substitutions? Why does he think Gooch and Honeyman are decent footballers? Why is he still trying to work out his best formation in the 50th-odd game of the season?

That match has made me angry and confused in equal measure.

We have totally messed up this season.

How can you been 1 game from the end of the season and not know your preferred formation or best starting 11? We’ve had 7 centre back pairings so far this season man. There’s been absolutely no continuity at all.

:D Im not suggesting long term btw. Im just looking for a bounce. Too much negativity surrounding ross and surely no one expects us to go up now with him. Nowt to lose i reckon.

Madness sacking your manager and bringing an new one in for a playoff tbf. That's before we get into the sketchy ability that Kevin Ball has a football manager.

Who would he be replaced with?

Someone else most of us haven't heard of - every time a manager has failed this has been trotted out, it just doesn't wash. IMO it may be a case of changing now and building or even if he gets us into the Championship, a year later he will be out. Better to change now.
