Ross Stewart

I'm talking about the way the two sides are very controlled and play the ball around even when there's opportunities for them to go direct to their main striker I didnt say he struggled or was shite. Haarland could have easily scored more goals in his first season at City, there's nothing controversial in that at all.

Gyokeres has a decent record so far and is getting better the more he and Arsenal are getting used to having him up top.
I rate Gyokeres highly. Think he is a very good player but it wasn’t the best comparison.

It wasn't mentioned to be a comparison about the players themselves, just more about those hea coaches wanting to be more controlled and not always looking to feed their strikers at the first opportunity, but I guess I'll take the slapped wrist if it boosts some egos on the board 😆

I was mainly replying to the poster about Gyokeres not being up to standard.

Yeah I get it and don’t disagree on your overall point. Gyokeres is a very good player and deserves his chance in the best league. I’m sure if he hadn’t been at Coventry, there would be different opinions.

Wish the lad well, but can’t forget how he left us. Won’t be praising him scoring goals, same as Clarke.
Both left on terms largely dictated by the club. Stewart is excellent and may yet have a renaissance if he stays fit but the fee we got was daylight robbery at the time. Clarkes fee was fair. Both got decent moves and we got better without them.
I wish all departures were as positive for us.

Both also helped us with the FFP summer signings if im not mistaken. Ross Stewart, the gift that keeps on giving

Maybe he should've stayed until he left us for free you muppet.

Bloke did well for us, massively helped us get out of League One and has somehow recovered from career treating injuries on more than one occasion. I wish him well and would buy him a pint anytime.
