Well in terms of financial security and enrichment the grass clearly was much greener. We took a punt on him and got him very cheap and his wages were minimal.Great for us but another one who thought the grass was greener.
Club has made some of these transfers decisions look a bit silly.
It’s been a while since he drained the life out of me.. is he still around or has our turn around been too much for him to bear??Remember the meltdown on here from the likes of MurtonMark that transfer deadline day we sold Stewart![]()

Looks like they may have been wrong mind , unless its all in his head , which can also happen when they subconsciously dont trust the body
he's not played regularly for like 2 years? Not yet, but doesn't look a patch on the player we had here
Why would you not be interested in ex players careers?Thats all correct. Nothing against the bloke but same as Clarke, don't get why people do constant updates about how they're getting on.
We've far surpassed them now and they aren't our players and didn't want to be here. Thats fair enough and their decision, don't see why fans care so much about how they do.
Course he was. Doesn't change the fact that he wanted to go though and it bizarrely gets people angry if you don't care about ex players on here.
Since 22/23 till 24/25 season when he joined us been out 710 days and missed 110 games.he's not played regularly for like 2 years?
it will take quite a few games to get back into it, if he hasn't lost anything with all the injuries or he doesn't fall over and hurt himself again.
I don't think it was a case of this at all- when they offered us 10 million up front, even though he was still injured- we pushed him straight out of the door. He hadn't played for us for nearly a year and you just couldn't turn that sort of money down for him. I don't think whether he wanted to go or not is the issue (and even if so, they were a better option than us at the time, a footballer's career is finite). There was none of this petulant Isak nonsense, we were offered what we wanted and we waved goodbye, nice and dignified.Great for us but another one who thought the grass was greener.

They were part of a very important historical team for the club, we might want to forget about our time in league one, but they are the players that dragged us out of it (and it was a close run thing as well- we scraped up by the playoffs). If that hadn't happeed we wouldn't be 4th in the PL right now.Thats all correct. Nothing against the bloke but same as Clarke, don't get why people do constant updates about how they're getting on.
