You’re dreaming.Che Adams was sold for £15 million and Birmingham werent in the same position as us. Everyone knows if you buy in January you end up overpaying too. Id say £15m - £20m with add ons.

And where are palace, brentford, everton? You must be heavily on the same stuff as the bloke in your avatar mate if you wouldn’t be happy with 25 million. We’re probably hoping closer to 7-10 and that’s a push.
He went to the premiership though.

£25,000,000![]()

Strikers always command a premium.
We paid ~£15m for Assombalonga.![]()
His value is no where near that for someone coming into the last year of his contract.Yous mock. But what’s the point if we can’t replace him. He’s scored nearly a goal a game, where do we find another one of them if we only have peanuts to pay assuming the owners won’t spend any of their own money.
The whole position you should be taking if you’re in the situation we are in now, is that you put a price out there that puts off any suitors so you can keep the player, and if that isn’t possible you get a fee that will guarantee you can replace like for like quality at a very minimum.
might get 3 mil imo mate with just a few month on his contract there only winner here is the agent ffs, rubbing his hands raw the gunt

We have spent huge sums in some duck eggs in the pastWhatever we get for Stewart, only a fraction if that will be spent on a replacement as the money will be used to strengthen elsewhere. We're not going to dump £10M or whatever on a new striker, if anyone thinks that!
He'll be a hell of a loss if he goes, we absolutely must keep him if we want a successful season, IMO.
15-20m and we’re dreaming? Most of us will be seriously pissed off if he went for anything less than that. You’re dreaming.
Anything above 5 and I think you take it.15-20m and we’re dreaming? Most of us will be seriously pissed off if he went for anything less than that.

Time will tell wether this “ model “ works but we’ve got some decent players overall

You can replace proven goal scorers - we did it. We replaced a free scoring Wyke with a free scoring Stewart.Disgrace if sold for less than 15m imho. You cant replace proven goslscorers. Keeping him is priority.
NoIf he waits till the summer he can go for nowt? Is that right?
So what will happen if he waits till he is out of contract?
