Ross Stewart valuation question

You must be heavily on the same stuff as the bloke in your avatar mate if you wouldn’t be happy with 25 million. We’re probably hoping closer to 7-10 and that’s a push.

He went to the premiership though.
And where are palace, brentford, everton?

£25,000,000 😂😂😂😂
£25,000,000 😂😂😂😂

Yous mock. But what’s the point if we can’t replace him. He’s scored nearly a goal a game, where do we find another one of them if we only have peanuts to pay assuming the owners won’t spend any of their own money.

The whole position you should be taking if you’re in the situation we are in now, is that you put a price out there that puts off any suitors so you can keep the player, and if that isn’t possible you get a fee that will guarantee you can replace like for like quality at a very minimum.

Chris Woods 25m hardly a world beater and would not be a first team pick for most of the top flight teams,
Who would you prefer in our team CW or LND from what I have seen of both players LND has more too his game.

Whatever we get for Stewart, only a fraction if that will be spent on a replacement as the money will be used to strengthen elsewhere. We're not going to dump £10M or whatever on a new striker, if anyone thinks that!

He'll be a hell of a loss if he goes, we absolutely must keep him if we want a successful season, IMO.

might get 3 mil imo mate with just a few month on his contract there only winner here is the agent ffs, rubbing his hands raw the gunt

His value is no where near that for someone coming into the last year of his contract.

The extension has been used already speakman has already said that so it’s 18 months on he’s contract

A year is still a very long time in football fair enough when your down to final 6 months then the value decreases dramatically but a year is still plenty of time

We have spent huge sums in some duck eggs in the past
Time will tell wether this “ model “ works but we’ve got some decent players overall

We certainly have!

I think we're safe with the model, at least for now. Unless some consortium of billionaires buys us, we're not going to be spending big money on individuals who may have little to no resale value in the future.

Progress could be slow, but at least we're unlikely to go under and we're having fun in the meantime! It's been a very good season so far, and as long as there's decent football to watch and a rather skilful bunch of lads pulling off some cracking moves, I think a lot of supporters will give the club the time it needs to develop.

I can't say the same patience would have been felt if we'd still been in L1, mind. That was just painful. Crap manager after crap manager. Neil was a snake but I'll always be grateful to him for getting us out of that cesspit of a division.
Anything above 5 and I think you take it.

Not a chance, don't be daft.
