Romain Mundle

Some of our so called supporters are too quick to judge, especially of the young lads.

Remember when Corry Evans first signed, he looked like he'd never kicked a ball until Johnson got sacked and Alex Neil came in. And that was from a seasoned pro

Hume took a while to get going. Pretty much a year. Roberts and Clarke weren't exactly outstanding in L1, their first 6 months at the club.

Just give the lads a bit tike to bed in and find their feet

Mundle clearly has some talent and potential, let’s hope he kicks on next season

That lad mentioning Taylor was also right mind, if he’d delivered his performances and stats this season at another PL2 club, we’d be excited by “his” potential too. Hope we’re not being too hasty releasing him. A one year deal with a club option second year might have been sensible. Loan him out and see how he does. I’m sure he’ll get a decent club though. Good luck to him.

They’re all young lads. Some will make it, some won’t. Hopefully they all at least make a career of it. We just have to hope we pick the right ones. Always been that way

I think he's showed some potential on the right wing, his natural side, showing a bit of pace and dribbling ability.

However, he's looked absolutely dreadful on the left wing, constantly slowing the game down and cutting inside on to his good right foot 99% of the time and laying it off about 5 yards. Some players just can't play as an inverted winger, he looks like one of them to me.

Poor management / decision making has meant he's played on the left as many times if not more than on the right wing. At this point in his career he is totally ineffective there.

I agree he looks a natural on the right

Like a few of our signings in the last three or four windows, there’s a good player in there imo. This whole season has been a basket case and not a good environment to learn in.

He’ll need a run of games under a head coach who can give him some direction and a job to do. I’ve not written him off yet.
Like most I m not against signing young uns that maybe ready in 12-18 months, but what happened last season was these lads were our main signings and are absolutely nowhere near first teamers. That can’t happen again. It’s not like we aren’t spending money. It’s just not currently being spent on what we actually need. At least 3 or 4 first team ready players are needed.
Just needs a good coach a few of them could do with it ba- jobe etc clearly has ability
That’s another problem. For me the whole thing needs a shake up. The Birmingham youth mafia need shifting on. Birmingham weren’t exactly known for being a hub of excellence for youth development and these clowns are running the show here.

I agree in full.

I think Mundle will come good, he’s full of energy and a bit feisty which is a good start but obviously Spurs rated him as a footballer and he’s shown flashes. Just needs to calm down a smidge.
