Where do those numbers come from? Is it just the case that someone makes up a number then it gets repeated so much it becomes true?

I can kind of understand them not signing a striker if they genuinely believe one of the four we have will come good but I’m at a loss to understand why we haven’t brought in another centre midfielder, we needed a player there who’d go straight into the team but even if the club disagree with that what happens Ekwah or Neil get injured? There isn’t really anyone to replace them.
