Roko Simic - potential signing

We should try and loan him if he's that good then.
Are Cardiff City trying to mimic the big Premier League clubs spending money and then loaning players out?

It appears to be some sort of balance sheet manipulation with a loan fee cancelling out a significant chunk of the transfer fee. The outbound transfer fee must be in installments and the loan fee granting some sort of positive cashflow against the said payments.

I don’t get this theory of buying to loan out when you are a pretty low level club without huge finances.

I don’t see why a player - unless terribly advised - would go for it

The Belgian team he’s playing in will be a step down from Salzburg so he should worry about development.

Cardiff are with all due respect in the cadre of teams that could go down this year (they could also have a good season) so it’s a bit of a risk as to where they’ll be next year.

I can only assume it's some kind of financial workaround if/when he ends up at another Tan owned club. I wouldn't be very happy as a Cardiff fan when the first team is in such clear need of bolstering. Be funny if they go down either way.

Player transfers and FFP workarounds are other areas that needs to be looked at. This deal doesn't make any sense, it's up there with the mags signing a reserve goalkeeper for millions with no intention of ever playing him.

Wilson isidor is the striker we've need ...simic looks like a development player

Be very interesting what we've got lined up on January

3 appearances for Kortrijk, no goals. Probably wasn't what we needed - I thought he wasn't what we needed at the time

I also thought Cannon would be class and was gutted he went to Stoke, and he's been shit by all accounts so shows what I know
