Funny listening to Charlie getting all uppity when for the first time RR asked him some challenging questions. I wish he could have been told, you don't set the agenda, you don't come on here telling us what we can and cant say on our podcast. Don't like it, there's the door.

Must have turned off before that point, I might listen to the rest now

I'm not really picking that up mind. Both saying they expect to win the league and want to win the checkatrade trophy as well. They are saying they have the resources/finances to get us there.

All very uplifting actually and Methven clearly agreeing with Donald.

Booking my hotel at Wembley now.

Happy to go for the checkatrade as long as we don't play any first team regulars.

Just listened to the 1st 30 minutes on drive to work. Not convinced at all, saying all the right things, but they’ve done that all season.

I’d like to know how they’re going to improve the squad, from a team that played 60 games and scored only 80 goals. To a team that earns 100 points?

Actions speak louder than words for me. Happy for them to prove me wrong, time will tell over the next two months.
We didn't. We scored 80 in 46 league games. 10 less than Luton, the same number as Barnsley and 7 more than Charlton.

Just listened to this and glad that we have this owner. Impossible to take this year out of context and expect perfect fixes to deep problems. Feel much more hopeful for next year having listened to this. They seem under no illusions about what needs to happen and are spot in to create the 100 point target.

I agree. Surprised they are being criticised for any of the content on the podcast and fair play to them for fronting up and doing it. Very few other owners or directors would.

I like the fact they are not making excuses either, but correctly point to some of the factors that could have been costly last season.

IMO the team needs a rugged no nonsense CB in the mould of a Paul Butler or young Kevin Ball before he moved up. O Nien should be moved into midfield. Try and sign that lad Eaves or similar and play two up front. I’d like to see some of the academy players introduced next season too. It’s a good opportunity to do that and maybe a silver lining to the cloud of not going up

Agree. If we have a good summer with signings like you mention, then promotion is entirely possible and we’d get to the next level as a stable, well run club with loads of potential. My mate said all along that it would be a season too early. My worry is the negative vibes spreading rapidly if the start of the season is not great.

It’s crazy really, when you look at the difference in one year. It took other clubs like Leeds and Portsmouth several years to ‘bottom out’. We’ve been turned around in a year and with a good summer in the transfer market and a pre season to get some proper fitness and style of play into them we must be overwhelming favourites to get the job done next season. Also Ross strikes me as an intelligent bloke. He will have learned a lot from the season just gone so I expect him to be a lot more savvy in the way he sets them up in 2019/20

He can stop him without belittling the interviewer and talking to him like a piece of shit. When I listened to it I couldn't believe how restraint the interviewer was. I'd have just fucked off.

Methven just doesn't seem to be able to handle any form of criticism at all.
