Rochdale home attendance

I wonder what the reaction from the crowd will be if we concede first again tomorrow. I’ve loved the way we’ve rallied behind the team after going a goal down but from gauging the mood on here, if that’s shared by the match going fans (I know that’s not guaranteed) could we see the crowd turn a bit and get the first audible mass grumblings of discontent?

If that does happen then I’d in turn be interested to see how the players would react to that.

It depends on reaction - tbf they were absolutely dogshit against Burton. Embarrassing at times (they nearly walked the ball in from the second half kick off for example).

I’m going to support them. If they offer something to support I will support it! Pretty simple really

Last week was the first time this season there was hardly anything to support on the pitch. Must do better

That really was disgraceful and unacceptable that 2nd half kick off. Not 1 player had a go at anyone. Not good enough.

What storms? Sunny and a moderate breeze forecast tomorrow, 13 degrees, humidity 58%, good visibility. Ya git fadge.
I'm on about crap train service blocked roads, and the fact the club say almost 26000 tickets sold.
How do the club know on a Friday pm how many card holders will turn out, have they phoned em all, they never called me and I've got 2 cards

Agree with this. The win against Charlton was a hard slog but with a new side it was always going to be, we then played really well against Scunthorpe and, imo, pretty well against Sheffield Wednesday. I went to Gillingham and it was decent as well, although nowhere near as comfortable as 4-1 would suggest. Trouble is since then we've been largely poor, the first half against Wimbledon was a joke, as was the first half against Burton, Oxford deserved to beat us and Fleetwood could have done with their penalty (albeit I'd argue a draw was fair). We've stated that we're aiming for promotion, play poorly tomorrow and I can see some starting to get frustrated because, at present, we don't look good enough (especially defensively) or consistent enough to get top 2.

Long way to go and I'll certainly not be getting on their backs at all, but it wouldn't surprise me if some do, we really need to show some character and bounce back from what was a pretty unacceptable display at Burton
However we are still 4th
Hopefully this is our blip & we pick it up sooner rather than later

I miss Nathan :(
He’s got a girlfriend now marra

As with all clubs, the declared attendance is tickets sold, not bums on seats.

Bull shot, mate utter crap the club just make this shit up, no one knows who will turn up

Correct

So, they around no that around 22,500 season tickets have been sold, and will be included in the attendance. The figures that are being quoted on this thread, through, are form someone on here. He has a script which can interrogate the box office details on the club website to calculate the number of tickets available for sale. As the capacity is known, the tickets taken up or otherwise allocated are shown as the difference between capacity and available. That number also excludes corporate sales and away fans. As a guesstimate, comparison with declared attendances suggests it's accurate to +/- 500 or so.

It’s always been like that mate. They state tickets sold. Including season tickets. That doesn’t mean arses on seats.

Fuck off ya boring wum bastard

There's some reet negative twats on here

When did this arses on seats vs tickets sold become a thing? Don’t think I seen it mentioned until last season and yet people are still at it this season despite the lower bowl being not far off full. Just another way for some to have a dig when they’re clutching at straws because the crowd numbers are tremendous and cannot be put down. Strange behaviour because I never hear owt of the kind home or away but then I shouldn’t be surprised at this place.
