Rochdale home attendance

I wonder what the reaction from the crowd will be if we concede first again tomorrow. I’ve loved the way we’ve rallied behind the team after going a goal down but from gauging the mood on here, if that’s shared by the match going fans (I know that’s not guaranteed) could we see the crowd turn a bit and get the first audible mass grumblings of discontent?

If that does happen then I’d in turn be interested to see how the players would react to that.

I think there will be more frustration certainly. Not from myself I hasten to add, I'm going to try and stay positive whatever happens, but this is the first game since the unbeaten start ended, some have focused on us going a while without a win, Burton was such a dreadful performance that if we go behind I think some will feel very pessimistic about our chances this season. Doesn't help that it's against Rochdale who actually have decent away form but who many will simply see as a very small club who we should be beating. Hopefully we just take the lead and win comfortably to avoid having to worry about it!

Be over 28,000 there tomorrow and there will probably be some murmurings if we have another stinker. No getting away from it we've been out played, out fought and outwitted by Oxford, Fleetwood and Burton. People will be quite rightly expecting an improvement in performance and effort. Doesn't mean we have to win but certainly play much better than we have been.

The mood on here during a match is honestly pathetically childish and fuck all like the fans that attend.

Thank god

Agree with this. The win against Charlton was a hard slog but with a new side it was always going to be, we then played really well against Scunthorpe and, imo, pretty well against Sheffield Wednesday. I went to Gillingham and it was decent as well, although nowhere near as comfortable as 4-1 would suggest. Trouble is since then we've been largely poor, the first half against Wimbledon was a joke, as was the first half against Burton, Oxford deserved to beat us and Fleetwood could have done with their penalty (albeit I'd argue a draw was fair). We've stated that we're aiming for promotion, play poorly tomorrow and I can see some starting to get frustrated because, at present, we don't look good enough (especially defensively) or consistent enough to get top 2.

Long way to go and I'll certainly not be getting on their backs at all, but it wouldn't surprise me if some do, we really need to show some character and bounce back from what was a pretty unacceptable display at Burton

No drama, no bedwetting or meltdowns just a neat encapsulation of the season to date.

Most of us completely understand the wider context of our position, having just been blasted out of the tail end of the biggest shitstorm in the clubs history.

Totally agree with you marra,I'm a season card holder in the South Stand, i.m.o the fans have been unreal this season ,with their support of the team.
I'm in that stand as well marra. Can you imagine if the home crowd went on like a match thread on here?

Last thing we need at the minute marra, the last couple of home games we've been bang average, but the fans have stayed with the team all the way, strange what a bit hope gives you ,we are still a work in progress,we need all supporters to be patient and we will be just fine marra:cool:✌.
