was looking at the ribble pro carbon, their summer deal is £999.99 with 105 and mavic aksium or campy centaur with khamsin wheels, other than that components are pretty similar. can get this on cyclescheme as well with a £65 admin charge

not thought of a self build ?

If you can wait a bit and be arsed to shop about online you will get far more bike for your cash. Wouldn't buy a groupset( you can mix and match between 105 and Ultegra say)
A LBS will put it together for £50-60
