RLB: 2-4 Players Needed

I think if I try to be honest I think cm has been a bit of an issue. In that we don’t have much depth there and so we have been lucky that Xhaka and Sadiki have mostly remained available all season long.

We need a reliable second LB

And the wings are an obvious area of weakness too.

The issue with the wings is we bought 2 players for the wing in the last window but both been injured mostly.

Well let’s hope the coaching set up feels the same and they lift their game for next season
We can’t afford going into next season with bottom half teams mullering us 5 nowt at home.
We are leaking goals right now. That free header wolves got was a disgrace even allowing for Ballard not being on the pitch

They’ve done that well the last few years with recruitment I’m not even gonna think about it too much. Hoping to just trust them to do the same thing again. A very rare feeling

Aye but the thread is about which purchases we would make that would improve the starting lineup. I did start by saying that I’m rubbish at this and normally don’t want to replace what we already have. It’s just that I feel the wings are our weakest position atm, and so signing a solid winger would improve us the most

Nearly all clubs will add 2 to 3, 1st teamers and we still have a lot of catchup to do to compete let alone progress. We need to add real quality not squad depth.

Think we'll upgrade on Geertruida/O'Nien with a better CB who'd be pushing Alderete and Ballard for a starting spot. Cirkin needs replacing, preferably with someone better. Same for Isidor if he's away. Xhaka needs an understudy.
 
Probably the four most important profiles for us are centre half, defensive midfield, left footed winger and striker. Could maybe do with a maverick creative player too. Then will need a top up of cover in areas too (most notably left back). Foreign player limits are tight (4 if we don’t take up options of Geerty and Traore). Could do with some kids and homegrown players coming in.
