RLB’s post match thoughts


Meh. I quite like his calm demeanour but on the flip side interviews/pressers are dull as ditchwater. Regardless, at the very least deserves the first quarter of next season regardless of what league we are in. He’s earned it just wish he was a bit more interesting

He warned a couple of weeks ago that players would be rotated and that results would maybe not mean so much. Let’s wait for the playoff semis before we hold up the white flag. We have been in a strange situation since we guaranteed our play off place let’s make a load of noise in the play off games and get us to Wembley and repeat

Just up in HCM this weekend back to Vung Tau this afternoon,graft the morn.
HCM changed/developed a lot but its 15 years since I was here.Rammed this weekend getting ready for the 30th big bash.
Grab a sunday roast in Phattys today or a ladyboy.

Has Vung Tau changed it wasn’t that built up when I was last there. Quite liked Phan Thiet used to go there by sleeper train it was fantastic

And we are just about to finish the regular season in easily the strongest league position since Moyes took us down in 2017 after Short lost interest

Some so-called fans are turning on a young team, which has significantly less experience, has had major injury problems to deal with on the left and at full back, and since guaranteeing a place in the play offs has unsurprisingly struggled to get results in matches where frankly the result did not matter.

Some even calling for the manager who has actually got us into the play offs to be sacked

To be replaced by who? Neil Warnock? Mike Bassett?

Whoever we end up playing in the play offs will love this - “keep them at arms length for 20 minutes and the crowd will turn on them”

Aye,built up now and back beach developed into a resort,lot of work going on.Lot of tourists go there now not just O&G lads and veterans,but loads more balloon chasers now I note.

Yes - we can waste next season as well. It's the end of the five year plan at the end of this season anyway isn't it - Plan 2.0 incoming.
