I know what you mean, but then at the minute we have people wanting to use the same room at the same time. Its a beautiful house and gardens but always with houses like these I look at and think what a waste 5 or 6 of the bedrooms will be, unless you have 5 or 6 kids surely rooms will just be dumping grounds for crap. That house has 2 sitting rooms, a dining room, breakfast room, library and an orangery so even if you hated your family you could find a room downstairs that nobody would be in. Not saying I wouldnt take it for free but I'd hate my life when I couldnt find my keys and had to look in every room.
Two people waiting to watch different TV programs is one, or I can not sit on the sofa and read if someone is watching telly. There are times I have wanted a second sitting room. Then we have a study with a desk for me and the wife, but we each use it as a music room too. So if I want some guitar practice on an evening I'm fitting it in after she finishes work and is not doing any singing or keyboard.
In an ideal world, we would have a study/music room each, which for me would have a couple of extra desks to use as a tech workshop. I can not solder something and use my laptop at the same time for example.
Or in other words, I want to spread my mess everywhere!
House prices a lot cheaper in Scotland. But when you look at it on street view, it is a smaller plot than I imagined and seems to be on the intersection of two roads where you would expect a reasonable amount of traffic.there must be a catch?

Next door to a care home too. I'm not sure if that is an issue or not. It is not like the neighbours will be up partying all night. But when I saw the pictures I thought it would be a bit more remote.
