Rightmove Voyeurism

superb house and location, especially if you like the quiet life. i'd personally soften it up a bit mind

I like modern houses like this. Australia and the States seem to be littered with them, but they are a real rarity in the UK. I don't think this is the best designed or executed one I've seen for that kid of price though.

Also, how much would you need to drink to justify a permanent triple beer tap in the kitchen? Even if you're buying it in polypins, that's still 36 pints a barrel. It would be rank by the time you got through it all.
this one

Up for sale again or is this a different one
Why do people build gigantic mansions that look exactly like scaled up 1980s Barratt homes?

I sadly don't have £2.5m to spend on a house but if i did I'd be wanting more than 18 pictures where 12 of them are just of the kitchen of a 5 bedroom house and 3 of them being duplicates. Do estate agents just not care?
I thought the same. This is the fridge. This is the oven. Look, the cutlery drawer opens. Here is the inside of a kitchen cupboard.

Nothing of the rest of the house or garden. Surely it must waste a lot of estate agent time if people turn up for viewings, take one look at something and decide it was not what they wanted.

I remember when we were looking there were a few places we looked at, and had said to the estate agents we wanted a decent sized garden, got there and discovered a tiny garden. One was little more than a thin path around the property, with barely enough space for the bins. "Oh but we thought you might fall in love with the house". Thanks for wasting my time, your time and the time of the people trying to sell it.

This is a nice enough flat at a reasonable price for Alnmouth, although it's leasehold.
Describing a 7'9" x 3'6" space as a dining room is a bit optimistic though.

Think they’d let you view it before opening your cheque book like
You'd hope so like ha.

It just seems a bit mental for that price point to either have people not know how good it is or be very annoyed when they turn up and its terrible in 80% of the rooms. Or just not even look as I imagine at least 1 person in the family who buys that will be in a pretty stressful high level job and will just be sent links from their partner saying have a look at these.

That's been for sale forever. Not my cup of tea like, too much add ons and awkward position. Haven't even looked at the inside like
Just another mil or so

It was on one of the property shows few years ago

My friends neighbours house recently went up for sale.

Nice, but that master bedroom en-suite is a bit daft. You have an absolutely massive bathroom with virtually nowt in it, the same size as the bedroom itself, and then a bath in the bedroom.

I'd get rid of the bath (steam, dampness and bedding are not good mixes), shift the entire en-suit into the small bedroom next to the master bedroom, and make the en-suit another large bedroom. Feels like the en-suit is for show more than anything else.

I agree with you completely, that was exactly my thoughts when I got to the upstairs photos. Really odd.

I suspect that bathroom was a bedroom back in the day.

Preference about a house, but I don't understand the desire for huge bathrooms. To me they are functional rooms. A big dining room yes, I'd love a place for a big table with plenty of room for loads of people to sit around, have a big meal together and get loads of food on the table or have a couple of side tables down each side for people to help themselves from. But space to skip and dance between the toilet and the shower? No.

Actually a bad habit of mine is to stand nice and warm in the shower and decide to stay in to clean my teeth as I can reach the sink to spit and rinse. And then I stand for another 5 minutes.

I like a fair size bathroom, my parents was tiny and I've always liked mine far more, but converting a full size bedroom? Nope.

And dont get me started on baths, and even worse, toilets, in actual bedrooms.
