Rightmove Voyeurism

Probably in the minority but To me that is awful, do they have any other colour but dull brown?
Also the architects in Oz must have the easiest job going.
"Can you design me a house?"
Yeah, sure, I will just get my lego out"

beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say. i think the photography/presentation isn't that great to be honest as a lot of the internal shots have the blinds or curtains closed. it's probably a lot brighter and lighter than those photos show.

Maybe’s because they’re trying to hide how small the plot is and the neighbouring houses are too close ?

Stayed in BB in October, fabulous place.

Maybe. It’s on a 750 sqm block though which is pretty decent for Byron and it’s at the quiet end of the town.
I was there last week, stayed about 500 metres from that house

We stayed there , if I went back I’d rent a house / apartment instead.

we've stayed here a few times, including this last time... very good location. starting to show their age a little but all in all very decent. you can walk out the back, over the railway lines and onto Belongil Beach (which i prefer to main/clarke beach).

i'm trying to see if we can buy a place up there somewhere, so i can retire around there. we'll see how we go as the wife would prefer to have somewhere closer to sydney

Walked past there most mornings , right along the beach then back for a coffee at The Hum .

Tallow beach was my favourite.

My nephew went swimming about 100 yards away from there , my exact words were if you want to be shark bait it’s up to you. 😂

if it's not dawn or dusk and there's no bait fish you should be OK. I've never seen or heard of a shark outside of those times/occasions and been here 34 years and only heard a shark alarm once or twice.

I know it an irrational thought, but I always think living in a thatched house, I'd end up going up in flames with me in it. Lovely to look at, wouldn't get me buying one.
Exactly the same for me too. BBQ in the summer - I’d not dare. Coupled with the beams I’d be banging my head on everyday, this would be great to look at but shite to live in (for me).
