Rightmove Voyeurism

This is my ideal retirement spot and an unbelievable house (over 2 normal size blocks of land), which will be way, way out of my and most people’s budgets….

From one of the photos you can see a rip on the shoreline right in front of it

Turn the tennis court into a five a side pitch and I might consider it.
Looks like the en suite is just behind the bed rather than in a different room as well. I like to keep the two separate with a door, never understood why people like to have an open plan shitter.
The flooring under the dining table (pics 4 and 6) would be a death trap for me :)
That's mental. Style over substance because it can't be practical on a daily basis.

I'd stick pitch and putt hole on there. agree about the ensuite shenanigans, keep the netty seperate and out the way.

Of all the houses I've posted on this thread I reckon this is one of the best, location wise.

Don't know the area but you seem to get a lot of house for your money.
I was thinking that. Big place, could do loads with that garden, but very bland and cold. The first few pictures I was wondering if it was one currently being built and those were CGI architect pictures, it looked so sterile. I know some on the thread would see it as anti-modernisation, but I'd be taking up the big marble slabs of tiles and getting carpet down and seeing if I could do something more interesting with the expanse of concrete between the house and the rest of the garden. Get some herb and salad beds in to be close to the kitchen, a pond, just something green and alive really.

That is rather nice. I suspect a little above my pricing limit.

I get the impression that grass is only walked on when its getting cut ... then it would need a sitty down mower

Wonder who’s that is henners. Its a strange old area that, not too far from some pretty grim bits or i suspect the cost would be nearer a million. Handy for the travellers rest n a chinese like! 😉
Not a road I go up or down often to be honest so hadnt spotted it before. Had to go up Oxford Road the other from Tones to Catcote road and the bottom half is like a slum !! .The golden bird is probably the only Chinese in town I havent used ( had a minging one from Welcome in Lister street last week :-()

Canny pond
The shape of the whole place is really odd. Then you have two kitchens plus the kitchenette on the ground floor, while you have a utility room off a kitchen on the first floor.

Looks like they have just been cramming rooms and features in anywhere they can.

It’s an absolute mess init

I like this ... but the garden is way to big

Almost seems too cheap.

I think it’s already portioned up into individual flats. Which puts the pool in question.
