Interesting that it is 5 bedrooms, but it is actually two properties being sold together. The white cottage and garage is one building, while the barn end is another building. If you look at the floor plan there is no connection between the two. If you wanted it as a 5 bed house, you leave one to enter the other, which is why there is two kitchens.

I wonder if there would be scope for knocking through between those kitchens on the ground floor. Put a door in so there is a flow between the bits of the house and it could be lovely.

Pictures 11 through to 14 are labelled Master Bedroom, Bedroom 2, Bedroom 3 and Bathroom. Look a bit draughty for me.

You do get some canny houses for your money in Bishop Aukland. From what I have seen on here, if ever I moved back up to the north east, I'd have a serious look at them.
This is not the most attractive houses from the front, but could be made into something. Nice on the inside, really big, massive garden and a spare warehouse should you need one.
