Restaurants in Sunderland city centre

Absolute genius whoever come up with the idea tho. Deep fry that pile of scraps you used to toss in the bin and knock it out at a few quid a plate with a bit garlic mayonnaise.
7 of us in a Italian a few years ago ordered the skins
Other Waiter came out asking who ordered the 4 skins
Oh how we laughed when I asked if they were kosher

Was in Keel Tavern earlier, very quiet but as you say, 12 30 on a Monday is hardly peak time
Food was really good in Rumour has it £12 for two courses with a £3 supplement on a couple of dishes. However I was there about an hour and was the only one in during that whole time and there were atleast 4 members of staff working. Hopefully it's much busier on evenings as it is decent. I went to the Cooper Rose afterwards for a coffee while I waited for my taxi and that was doing a steady trade as usual.
