Nice place but a bit limited in terms of drink options.Visited the Tram Shelter yesterday for drinks only. A great venue. Is well furnished inside and we were served with a smile.
Only 2 draughts on I think. The drinks were brought to us and the lasses serving were great so more than compensated for that.Nice place but a bit limited in terms of drink options.
Poretti is one of them because that’s what I had the other week in there. Nice drop as well, but I think they’ve always been more about the wine there. It’s the same in the Boldon one. Doesn’t bother me like.Only 2 draughts on I think. The drinks were brought to us and the lasses serving were great so more than compensated for that.
I think the other was Brooklyn. I had one of each. The Brooklyn was slightly more to my taste. I think the beers are more of an add on as it seems to be more geared up to wines and champers. Lovely place and great atmosphere. Was just busy enough. Cheaper than Seaburn Inn which charged £13.70 for 2 pints.Poretti is one of them because that’s what I had the other week in there. Sounds about right because I know the Boldon one has got Brooklyn as one of their draught options as well, except that was always Brooklyn Lager which I find much better than this Brooklyn Pilsner you seem to see way more of now. Aye agree though it’s a good addition to the front. We went in the Seaburn Inn beforehand as well for a drink and aye, was canny pricey for a pint and glass of wine.I think the other was Brooklyn. I had to book a week and half in advance mate, I originally wanted to visit last week. And their was limited availability.Tried getting a table last night. No chance. Full this evening too.
The Seaburn slapped 50p on a pint about 3 weeks ago. I like the place, but fuck me....Sounds about right because I know the Boldon one has got Brooklyn as one of their draught options as well, except that was always Brooklyn Lager which I find much better than this Brooklyn Pilsner you seem to see way more of now. Just noticed the new burger place (formerly Mexico 70) is doing itAny recommendations for fried chicken like the ISIS did but not the ISIS?
I’ve booked for next week, looking forward to it.I had to book a week and half in advance mate, I originally wanted to visit last week. And their was limited availability.
Technically the views of the sunset would be looking up the river rather than down it, in the opposite direction to the docks. It is very good views from Knowledge.
Gone downhill massivelyTosca, recently. Food good, service slow. Blamed it on only having one chef in.
You the dropped dish last night? Excellent as always. Back in Thursday for the tasting menu, as I was reminded last night. Oops.Enjoyed knowledge but the young lass had a mishap with me
She was mortified but told her dont worry we'll not cause a fuss
