To be fair though, I have next to nothing in common with my colleagues so I essentially come in, work, go home and socialise with who I want - when I can.

I agree. I have two really good friends from the many many people I worked with.

Friends mate even best friends.

I doubt the vast majority of people have muslim best friends. I'm not saying no one has muslim friends.

I don't know your posting history and haven't checked but my guess is you were all over the EDL thread? Maybe. Maybe not. But am I right I thinking you are very much in the " I don't want 'em coming here to Islam our kids" camp? Just so I know how to approach our inevitable engagements on this thread.
You know so little about me.... im always sincere.

At the end of the day someone was always going to retaliate, eye for an eye and all that.

I know plenty of people who frankly have had enough. I'm not saying it's right but take all the political correctness out of it and people are fed up with being attacked in their own countries by albeit a minority of a culture/religion.

Society has been too soft (molly coddled) on those who oppose the views and values of our culture in the fear of offending the do gooders.

I'm struggling to remember the last time i heard of a terrorist attack in China where they outlaw religion.

Xinjiang at the end of last year.

China also don't tend to let those pesky human rights get in the way of things.

Happens regularly in the Western region.

Aye although it was when i lived in the states. Ive found that when youre living abroad you tend to mix with other immigrants.
That's a slightly different scenario. Are you still friends with them now?

IMO, the majority of people who have muslim* work colleagues will not be friendly with them outside of work, and the reason for that is they will have nothing in common outside of work. Obviously there are exeptions, but I would think this would apply to the majority.

* as in practicing muslim.

Yes of course. Although the atlantic ocean prevents saturday meet ups these days.

I get the impression, in fact I'm certain, from your posts that you've never ever been pals with a muslim.

As in socialising friends?
I used to regularly socialise with 2 of my muslim friends (1 girl, 1 boy - not together) regularly outside of work, especially after 1 left the place of work. Dropping life to go travelling was the only thing that prevented me seeing both people much in the last 9 months. Still text each other regularly though.

And my sister's fiancee is one of them brown muzzies too. Shock horror, but he's a good lad also who I never see in a work capacity.

Fancy white non-muslim people being friends with them muzzies eh? What a ridiculous concept.

@WHD gone into hiding at the thoughts of whites and brown muslims integrating. Do you have any questions about Jishaan or Tasneem that I could help with?

That's where you are wrong. I was introduced to my missus by a mutual muslim friend, although she was a muslim by background only. She classed herself as a Muslim, but was with a "white British" lad and was out on the piss all the time.

Gone into hiding? I don't spend all of my time on here ffs, even though my family think I do.

I think you have misunderstood my point. A practicing muslim and your average "white British" person won't have much in common, as one will spend most of his spare time praying and the other will be at the pub.

I suppose cricket could be a joint interest like.

I'm not saying it's right but

The rest of what you say is wrong in almost every possible respect, but this in particular sticks out. I bet you'd have been in an utter frenzy if this phrase popped up on relation to the London Bridge or Manchester attacks

The only one saying how it is ?!?

I see you're the latest to be handed the baton in the world's shittest relay team
