Don’t know much about him, but as I don’t believe I’ll ever see a worse keeper than Lee camp play for us I’m not too worried. Having said that, I never thought I’d see a worse one than Seamus Mcdonnagh either.

Matthews is an interesting signing.
Considering we already have a first choice keeper, does this mean PP doesn’t rate LB? Or has RM been brought in for competition.

Bit of a strange one considering we’re close to the salary cap?

Burge wont be first choice.

Poor deal imo. Anar the give him a chance brigade will be along but we should be out to get the best keeper available not the keeper that Parkinson knows.

Best keeper available? You mean the one who is willing to play in League One? Or the one who costs in excess of £10m when we usually find the most expensive tend to be the worst? Or the one that would break the salary cap?

Easy that one Burge is poor.Matthews will be No1 imo

This signing is the cheap option mate. They’re scared to even take a chance on a young keeper on loan that could potentially go on to be a star.

It’s a shit signing, he’s bang average, bookmark this.

From Parkinson's comments about the signing on SAFC.com we have gone for Matthews because the salary cap priced us out of whoever we would have liked to have gone for?

One year deal is fine initially. They should be looking at Antony Patterson being at least second choice in 12 months time, so there probably won't be room for both Burge and Matthews at that point.
