Conceeded 76 goals last season, had the season finished he might have been knocking on for 100, including 21 goals against in 4 games in september . Not saying he is the reason they done awful but his confidence must have took a massive beating after last season.
He’s had a bit of practice at least.

Sunderland are closing in on the signing of goalkeeper Remi Matthews. The 26-year-old is a free agent having left Bolton Wanderers. He had been training with league rivals Ipswich Town. The Black Cats are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper after the departure of Jon McLaughlin. (Lancashire Telegraph)

Any good?
Very, very average

Norwich fans thought he was as good as or possibly even better than Angus Gunn only a couple of years ago. Gunn joined Southampton the same summer for £13m.
The guys shite are you for real a typical PP cluseless signing thing is that clown wont be Manager for much longer Mr Slones

it shows his ability and potential, even if he has lost his way a little bit. Some comments here...

We had fans on here saying that Colback was a better player than Henderson.

You wouldn't have Colback over Henderson now though would you? Actually, don't answer that!!
which might be true but we need to prioritise the attack for next year.
Then it would make sense for an outstanding U21 Prem loanee, such as Nathan Baxter whose salary doesn't contribute to the budget to occupy the goalkeeping position rather than a mediocre, at best, journeyman like Matthews.
