I think it did . He was a great bowler and got plenty of caps but Duncan fletcher didn't pick him loads of times because of him not working hard enough at his overall game.

The key difference is Ahmed has a bit about him with the bat, so I think that’ll serve him well

I’ve watched him a bit this year, on YouTube and I WFH, I’m also sad as fuck. He was really all over the place at times, and barely took a wicket

He was ckass in Pakistan but he was very much 2nd spinner on a flat pitch defending a huge target. I just don’t see this. I’ll get behind him if picked as he’s a hell of a talent, but way off yet for me.
