Obviously not or we wouldn't have signed Mep, Connolly, Samed or Poveda. It's part of his remit to develop young players. Surely his background suggests that it's viewed as an important, albeit not exclusive, part of his job?

We wont be anywhere near automatic, might scrape playoffs but after last 6 games, im not filled with confidence, same pattern and no sign of any change

Very good coach. Very good tactician. But his in game stuff is baffling. Its like no one has told him it's a 46 game season. Pep sometimes doesn't make changes at City. It's like a "We don't need a plan B, we just need to do plan A better" thing. Thing is Pep plays Pep roulette and you have no idea who his XI is going to be week to week. Most of his squad have fairly equal minutes. We're just running lads into the ground. We're going to be burnt out in the festive period and the lads we have who can come in as replacements are going to be so rusty. I can't for the life of me understand why at the start of the season when we were comfortably winning games we didn't give some more lads minutes. Its almost already too late to do that now. His hand was forced into playing Aleksic against Millwall, he makes a bad mistake at the end of the game, Millwall draw level and it costs up two points. I don't think that happens if he had more football under his belt.

He talked about solving problems in his interviews. Well, he hasn't solved any in the last 6 games. Lack of subs when players are ineffective and team doesn't look like scoring. He talks about being proactive instead of reactive. Doesn't use Aouchiche in the previous 5 games but brings him on when we go a goal down. Doing the opposite of what he says.

Rusyn, Aouchiche, Aleksic, Connolly & Mayenda on the bench as attacking options. Use them when the players on the pitch are tiring or ineffective.

People saying he doesn't trust them? He coaches them almost every day. That's his job, to coach them and get the best out of them.
