Regis le Bris - confirmed

The first few pages of this thread make amusing reading, 20/20 hindsight is a wonderful thing.

edit: i say that as someone who was underwhelmed at his appointment

To be fair there were no indicators that RLB would work out the way he has so far.

At best he was a young, overseas unknown quantity that could surprise us and thankfully that's what's happened.

The lesson is to only ever judge once they get here and see what they're made of.

It’s on my list, looks absolutely insane, never gotten near tickets yet though.

Aye, it's troubling - I started going in 2017, and tickets were easy enough to come by then

By 2019 it was an insta sell out and it was potluck. I missed out for 2025 and have taken my bat and ball home, gonna try elsewhere this year!

Keep trying, you won't regret it once you make it!

The page that this post is taken from is quite possibly the worst collection of posts on this forum.
Fuck me, you're right. Some posters should be banned for life for the shite they've posted on this thread.
Hands up I got it wrong , I would say tho since the Coventry game we have came out on the right side of results more often than not by the tiniest of margins and football being a fickle thing these could easily start going the opposite way
And if me auntie had balls, she'd be me uncle.

I'm sat at soft play while the kids are running riot so just revisited the French news article on RLB time at L'Orient... This sound familiar?

"What’s more, it’s not just their position in the league table that looks pretty. After they win the ball back with their low block, their fluid and positional yet direct attack is worth spending hours to watch. Their style, coupled with a talented set of attackers, is one for the neutrals."

Just don’t ask how his tenure at Lorient ended up
Not his fault. He had them high in the league in his first year and the club sold his best players from under him because they were strapped for cash. Even then they were relegated by the narrowest of margins - 1 goal! They had the same points and the same goal difference as Metz and Metz went through to a playoff against the third placed team in League 2 by virtue of Metz scoring one more away goal in their meetings in the league. Metz lost the playoff! It's irrelevant anyway, he's doing brilliantly here!
