Regis le Bris - confirmed

They literally beat the high press for the goal ffs.

The bench today was Patterson, Neil, Mundles, Mayenda, Isidor, Hjelde, J Jones, H Jones and Turierov. Not exactly loads of options to change the game and I very much doubt Dan Neil was going to change that for us. We did however get more in the game towards the last 20 minutes so maybe the changes did have some impact.
So when your midfield is being overrun and you’re camped in your own half, you change the full forward line.

Don’t expect any calls from Pep soon.
The fact that some people on here think that Dan Neil is the answer absolutely baffles me
He was the only option available from the bench when the midfield was being run ragged.

Tutierov is a kid. Neil was our team captain last season with years of first team experience.

What are you trying to say here?
You were making the point that there is no point in putting someone on the bench if you don’t intend playing them.

I pointed out that Tutierov was on the bench while RLB had no intention of playing him.

Therefore, your point, and I may say not for the first time on here, is entirely wrong.

You really appear to struggle with logic.

If we were 3-0 up he probably would have given him a few minutes.

If you cannot see the difference between Neil and Tutierov being put on from the bench in today’s circumstances, then I don’t have the time or crayons to be able to make you understand.

If you, as you seem desperate not to acknowledge, think Sunderland will never get promoted from the Championship under RLB, I’m not sure you really understand football.

Wasn’t tha long ago you were saying Dan Neil was better than Enzo.

As many on here have said, best you accept you’ve made a bit of a chump of yourself tonight, log off, get some sleep and we’ll give you another chance tomorrow.

RLB is a boring manager who doesn’t make exciting changes.

Leeds I’m still not sure why they shut up shop and time wasted for a point. Weird but we were so crap we couldn’t press and create anything in the last 10 mins when they did it. We simply don’t have a creative spark or PL quality striker.
Best head coach we’ve had in years. Possibly the most tactically astute in my lifetime (supported since 1992) and still folk come out with crap like this.

Dear god.

This 100%. RLB focuses on defense because that's the foundation to being able to nick points(it also allows teams to nick results from us if we're not clinical). Let's see how we kick on and build for next season, too.

No, we should be far more attacking and get dicked more often than not.

If Brobbey had finished those chances the game could have been won by half time.

And for all we unquestionably didn’t play well for much of the second half, how many top class saves did Roefs have to make?

It was interesting, they retreated I feel because key players ran out of legs like Calvert Lewin, but also because they feared Isidor and Mayenda on the break.
I felt Isidor was the best option as a starter v Leeds because of this

Reference your first point, if you have not found the end of Sunderland games exciting during 2025 , your following the wrong sport

I also feel like if they had brought on Gnonto earlier, he could've done us a lot more effectively then Okafor.

Give examples of his tactical ability.

Oh dear, is that really the best you can come up with?

So you genuinely think someone who got us promoted at the first opportunity and has us 7th doesn't have tactical ability, IL give you one bornmouth at home when semenyo was running us ragged he bought Hume onto the right of midfield to deal with him and close out the game.

A lot more than their keeper did.

He’s (she’s?) a mag m8, on the wind up, don’t rise, unless of course you fancy biting in which case, have at it.
